(More customer reviews)I was really excited to find out that this pattern went with the set of Pfaltzgraff that I bought that didn't have any accessories to go with it. However when these came I washed them and let them dry for two days before I put salt and pepper in them. By the next morning the salt had turned hard. I cleaned the shaker out and let it dry for two more days, wiped it out really good with a soft dry cotton cloth, and let it air dry some more. Same results, the third try, same resuls. I was really disapointed. The pepper one was fine, so I put salt in it, same results. Even opened a new box of salt, same results. Every other accessory I bought in the 'Summer Breeze' worked fine and conplimented my dishes.
I kept them, they look pretty in my china cabinet.
Never had a piece of Pfaltzgraff fail, its always been exceptional tableware.
