(More customer reviews)I probably planted these on the late side, but the germination seemed subpar at any rate. The reason is the thick outer coating, which I found out later should be lightly thinned with a nail file. Pregermination (soaking in water beforehand) would also be a good idea. It was my fault, not the seeds, but I would have liked to have seen something about doing this on the instructions on the packet. I only found out late via a garden website that this is recommended.
