(More customer reviews)I love flowering teas, but without a good glass teapot you miss half the pleasure of seeing them flower. My old teapot was small and didn't hold much water, plus the glass was thin so I was constantly worried about breaking it. This teapot is great because it holds enough water for two people to get a couple of cups of tea from one flowering ball. But you're drinking alone? No worries, you can ALSO use just the teacup, and still see your flowering tea! This set is awesome because it comes with some flowering tea, and the glass is thick enough that the teapot feels sturdy (that being said, it IS glass so you have to be careful with it). Comes with two cups AND a really nice tea infuser insert for the tea pot, to use with loose teas, and in a shape that is a little less likely to break than some of my other teapots. (As with most teapots, you need to be careful with the lid which has a sort of delicate handle.) Makes a fabulous, elegant and impressive gift, especially because it's one of those things most people wouldn't buy for themselves but would love to have.
