(More customer reviews)I have rose bushes extending across a 50 long, 25 foot tall wall that require pruning at least three to four times a year. Needless to say, standing at the top of an extension ladder with my little pruners, constanatly shifting the ladder in 18" increments along the wall was getting old. This pruner, however triples my reach and significantly decreasing my pruning time. The cut and hold feature is great for keeping rose clippings (and sharp thorns) from falling on your head or catching on the vines below. This pruners is sharp and requires less effort to cut than my hand pruners. Highly recommended!

An ideal tool for any rose gardener, the ARS long reach rose pruner sports a 2-foot reach and features a unique "cut and hold" blade allowing you to reach into rose bushes to cut and hold on to stems without getting pricked by its thorns. It has a lightweight 2-foot aluminum arm with hard chrome-plated blades that resist rusting and corrosion. The comfortable hand grip prevents fatigue, and the revolving arm allows you to turn the pruner blades in any direction without moving the hand grip.
