(More customer reviews)When I purchased this device from Amazon for $17.95, I hoped at that price I was getting the best possible thorn stripper. This item is now out-of-stock, but I am reviewing it in case it ever comes back. I have many roses in my yard, so have had a lot of practice with this thorn stripper. To-date, I've not been successful in removing one thorn, but I have broken several stems trying. I am careful to follow directions, holding the stripper at a right angle to the stem, but the thorns seem to bend & slide their way through rather than getting cut off. Too bad it wasn't out-of-stock before I wasted my money.
