(More customer reviews)For the most part, I really liked the way the little cakes came out looking like half bloomed roses. I wished the details would show up better, but on the other hand it would be harder to wash this pan. I strongly suggest if one wants to make several of these types of cakes, buy 2 pans, so less washing between baking of these rose cakes.
Also use candy melts of a pastel color, but make sure the candy melts are thoroughly melted as to avoid any lumps showing in the rose detail design. I used a mixer to beat the melted candy, making it a little thinner in consistency, so it will glazed easily over the cakes.
