(More customer reviews)I've searched around for glass teapots and many have caught my eye, with a few in-between that would have the looks of not being generic. This one right here has an elegant design to it and it functions tremendously aside from its pretty looks.
First, let me talk about how pretty it is for a few seconds. It's glass with a hint of color! The pink rose is perfectly crafted as the top of the lid, but it catches your eye in person. It's like a little jeweled crest. The other pink on the teapot is the handle itself, which I'll discuss as part of its features that I really admire and make me love to use this teapot.
I find the handle nice to hold. It's sturdy, but it feels better because it's a tad flatter and has a row design. It offers a nice grip especially for your thumb. Feels good. The glass strainer inside is also sturdy and it doesn't mess around. It has fine cuts (slits if you will) at the bottom of the container to offer the best brewing capability without having any of the tea (no matter the size) to fall through. It's also very easy to clean.
However, my absolute FAVORITE feature of them all... is the no-drip tip. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS THING! I can pour it in any way and there will NOT be a mess or even a single drip on the outside of the tip. Sometimes I have fun pouring my tea high above the glass to test myself against this, and still not a single drip. I've had issues with some teapots in the past that would drip no matter how careful you are (annoying). You know, how it runs down the snout of the teapot? Ugh. Not all of them by any means, but few of that I own which are pretty, do. I've received many compliments on this teapot from the beauty of it and the price. Some other glass teapots come without 1 or any of the features that this one has, and cost about the same price or even a little more. This one has the looks and the features. I want another one just to keep in the china cabinet, or as backup; in-case this breaks cuz I don't want it to!
It also seems to do its job when it's on the teapot warmer I have. No issues here. :)
p.s. - They gift-wrap the box a little bit. Kinda classy of them.
