(More customer reviews)I was SO EXCITED to find these towels. They are the EXACT color combination I was looking for. And they are the ONLY towels I found in this combination. The black adds the color I was trying to find for my powder room. The grey compliments my brushed nickel fixtures, the taupe is perfect with my ceramic tile, and the white brings in the brightness I was looking for. When I took the towels out of the package, I was pleasantly surprised. They are a very decent weight, and extremely soft. I removed the tags and washed the towels in cold water on gentle in my front loading washer since they certainly weren't "dirty" and just needed freshened. I was SO DISAPPOINTED when I removed them from the washer. The black was covered in lint balls. I decided to dry them before passing judgement. They looked just as bad when they came out of the dryer. I hung them to see if I could "live with" the post-washed appearance. The colors were still GREAT, but the towels looked ten years old. I am so disappointed. Now, I am back to searching for just the right color combination.
