The nails are all a little too similar in size and so I screwed up and ended up screwing the nails through the top so now I have these ugly little bumps in the top. Not that it matters since there are holes in the top where you screw the top to the base...there aren't any plugs to make the top flush, or there weren't any in mine anyways.
Overall if you are ok with a little flaw or two it is super cute and looks decent enough. The extra little cabinet space is nice for random items that I don't want displayed.
Beware when putting together though, really watch your screws!
