I chose the 'tea rose' pattern because it has a vintage look and matches the old-fashioned country look of my farmhouse. The dinnerware can be used for family meals and for familiar company. The platter will hold a medium sized roast or a large roasted chicken. It can be cleaned in the dishwasher without a problem. It is very sturdy and has scalloped edges which look charming.
