Several of the items, including 4 of these mugs arrived with defects in the glaze, showing unfinished porous ceramic in places on the outer surface of the mug, including around the rim where the rough ceramic could injure a user's lip. This is the kind of poor quality I would expect from $1.99 Walmart no-brand item, and it was immediately visible upon opening the package. At this price, a ripoff and a disappointment for the recipient. Not a premium product.
A reasonable inspection would have rejected these defects.
