(More customer reviews)Well, when I thought of satin, I had thought of something smooth, soft and stretchy. While the pillow is smooth, it's not exactly soft. On my pillow, the cover feels taut. Maybe that's hard to imagine, but that's what it feels like. I got it so that my hair wasn't as messed up after sleeping, and I have to say there is a significant difference. So, I guess it's doing it's job. Just didn't have that advertised 'Luxurious' feel to it.
